Global Trust Bank is the only independently owned Indo-American bank in the state. The necessity of a locally-owned and managed community bank, serving the rapidly growing Indo-American population in the Santa Clara County and the San Francisco Bay Area, led to the establishment of the bank which commenced operations on December 3, 2008.

The members of the Management Board, founding investors, as well as shareholders are predominantly representated by the Indo-American population and the residents of the Bay Area. James C. Wall, with forty years of extensive experience in the banking industry, is the current President and CEO of Global Trust Bank, as well as the Director of Global Bancorp. R. Dale McKinney is the Senior Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the Bank.
The Bank’s objective is the provision of highly personalized commercial banking services, focusing on customers within the local Indo-American community. The Bank concentrates on the financial needs of individual customers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as non-profit organizations. The Bank’s business activities are organized in three divisions: Business banking, Personal Banking, and Real Estate Lending.
To business banking customers, the Bank offers a wide range of tailor-made services such as: loans (commercial real estate loans, term loans for business expansion, or tenant improvements, etc.); SBA loans; deposits (savings accounts, business checking accounts, certificates of deposit, etc.); cash management (on-line and telephone banking, bill pay, wire transfers, remote capture for deposits, etc.); and safe deposit boxes.
